Asiago’s Astrophysical Observatory - In recent years the Galileo telescope has undergone numerous technical and technological modernization interventions: in 2005 the CCD and guiding camera were replaced, in 2011 the Newtonian focus was removed, the tube shortened and the mirrors machined to move from the focal length of 19 m to the current focal length of 12 m, and from 2011 onwards the remote control project began and has now reached its almost complete completion.
